The $15 charge for the seasonal flu vaccine is covered by the student health insurance. After you have received the flu shot whether that was at one of our mobile flu shot clinics or the Student Health Services clinic, you will need to obtain a statement to file with your insurance. If you have primary (family) insurance, you will need to file with that insurer first. If you have a remaining balance, you can then file with the Student Health Insurance office. If you only have student health insurance, you will need to bring your statement to our office in the Student Services building room 303. Please call our office if you need additional information at (309)-438-2515.

I just wanted to give a kudo’s to the guy working in the student insurance office. It was almost 5pm when I stopped in (I’m a parent of a freshman), and he not only was patient with me and my questions, but didn’t have the attitude of “it’s almost time to go home, and another student walked in…” As if even time to go home, he would stay in the office to take care of all who walked in. Great bed side manner, informative, and patient. - ISU Parent
